FAQ

It is very straightforward to list and create your property advert on Let and Rent Spain:
There is a video tutorial (Tutorial button on the menu bar)

Sign Up:
Click on "sign up" and complete the Member Sign Up section and click on the "send" button. An email will then be sent to you with your username and passord.
Please note: We do not allow website addresses that promote properties other than the one/s advertised on this site.
Only one property per advert unless they are part of the same building

Please do not use all capital letters, as it makes text difficult to read and is considered as Shouting!

To help try and rid the world of email spam  do not post your email address. (Robots scan websites to collect email addresses for use in Spam emailing)
The contact form results come directly to you.
We will not pass your your email to third parties.

Owner Log In:
Using your email address as your log in and the password that you were sent and then type in the security code you see and click "log in"
You will be taken to your admin area

Click properties
Click on Add: You will be taken to an area where you can choose your advertising plan: click submit and if appropriate you will be taken to the Paypal site to complete the transaction.

Return to "add" where you can now complete the overview section for your advert
Don't worry if your city is not listed in the drop down menu after you have selected your region, (just leave it blank) and include it under your address. When we approve your advert we will add it then!

Google maps: For more information how Google Maps works please click on the "Google Map" on the menu bar 

1. SEO description: This helps search engines find your advert and should read something like this:
   Lovely Villa with two bedrooms in Vera near Almeria Spain, with fabulous sea views and private swimming pool.
   

2. SEO key words: The words you would like search engines find, seperated by commas, and should be in the same order as your description. Something like this: Villa,two,bedroom,Vera,Almeria,Spain,sea,views,private,swimming,pool.

Once you have completed this section click next.
Amenities:

Check the boxes that apply and click next.

This is where you can add up to 8 photographs and their description.
Once you have uploaded yopurpics you can select which one is featured by clicking "edit" and changing the 0 to -1

Photographs can be up to 900 x 900 pixels in size and each one no larger than 200Kb in file size Ideally and for very fast loading resize your pics to 600 pixels wide and keep the file size below 100Kb this will make viewing the photographs a fast experience. If you wish we can upload them for you, just email us.

Once you are happy with your photographs you must activate them by clicking the edit button.
You can then activate each one in turn.

Continue to complete the details for your advert.

When you update the availabilty calendar make sure you click "add rate" after each update! When you have added all your rates click next and you will be taken to the "Policies" page
 

Once you have completed your advert it needs to be approved by Let and rent Spain before it appears on the site.This should normally happen within 24 hours.
